Although I really enjoy drawing and painting, tattooing is by far my favorite medium, and to collaborate with others on ideas that in turn lead to one-of-a-kind pieces of art fascinates me. I think it's a beautiful process, one that should be enjoyed by both the client and the artist alike, the end result a tattoo one can wear with pride for the rest of their life. If you'd like to collect a piece of work that you can enjoy everyday, feel free to call, email, or just stop by!

I started tattooing in 2003 after doing an apprenticeship at Capital Tattoo in Richmond, VA under Billy Eason. Over the years I worked for a couple different shops around the Richmond area as well as in Cincinnati, OH before returning back to Richmond. I tattooed at Capital Tattoo once back in Richmond where I focused on progressing my skills while working tattoo conventions around the US.
After a few more years working for Billy Eason I then felt the time was right to open up my own shop Heroes and Ghosts Tattoo in Cartyown. I still travel to conventions around the US and can handle any tattoo idea given to me. I am often asked to do bright and bold colorful work, but I enjoy black and grey tattoos as well. I have been known in the area and through the country for having a distinct painterly style, crisp portrait work, and I have recently been enjoying putting my own spin on traditional tattoos.See tattoos
Please stop by the shop or contact me for your next tattoo.
I have been tattooing for a little over eight years now. I enjoy many avenues of art and self-expression. Everything from visual arts to music, writing and healing arts. In the tattoo world I only work in black and gray. I am facinated with many styles of tattooing and art, pulling influences from many mediums.
Traditional Japanese art and culture originally drew my interest into tattoos. My facination grew with my first tattoo i received and grew into a career that seems to continue to captivate me. There has been very few pursuits that seem to open me up to new ideas and perspectives in life than tattooing. I look froward in furthuring the refinement and understanding of such a skill, as well am intersted in seeing how it shapes and developes in my life.
I like to try and be as well rounded as possible, so i am open to any and all ideas in tattooing. So any questions hit me up!
